Sealamb

SeaLamb is the creative force driven by Fremantle Local Callum Adcock. SeaLamb’s sound is a gritty, flavourful, and bluesy mesh of individuality. We helped record 2 tracks called “Tendancy” and “Bad Decisions” both of which were a combination of at home and and studio recording sessions.

All instrument tracking was done DIY at Callum’s house utilising an 8 input Scarlett 18i20, A DP7 Drum mic kit, some SM57’s and a RODE K2. Vocals were tracked on campus at SAE to access to some higher end condenser mics available.

We employed the help of J Sonics in his Oconnor studio for mastering. We also wanted access his array of vintage tape machines in order to record some tape speed/pitch variation effects which Callum desired for one of the tracks.
